Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in film and TV. Clive Standen will voice Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2.
The range of names is confusing
Aside from a few cool episodes, Secret Level feels like a monument to mediocrity. The writing is painfully mediocre, dragging the show down the entire time, despite the undeniably impressive visuals, though even those feel like overheated leftovers from a decade of great video game cinematography. Honestly, what is this show trying to do or say that video game marketing hasn’t done (and done better) in the past 10 years?
Where are the big names?
The lack of heavy hitters suggests one thing: the creators didn’t want this train wreck to be a part of it, or they were waiting to see if Season 1 would hold up. Spoiler alert – it didn’t. The creators of the short stories seem to be avoiding it altogether.
What should have been tense, impressive, and memorable feels disjointed and uninspired
