One of the characters wears a Rolex Daytona Ceramic in the 1990s, but the watch wasn’t released until 2016. Honestly, I was expecting a lot from this movie for 3 months and honestly, I am very disappointed with the script because it is very bad and boring, you don’t expect that in the end this kind of story will be explained and happen like that because there was a very good pitch and a great potential to get the best love story in the film industry, too bad!
You expect the movie to be revived when you see the old kids on the adults well
First of all, the pitch of the script is great, you have to do everything to make such a good story to please the audience, but unfortunately, the way of handling the script is badly played by the writers… because the old period that explains childhood is nice but too long and you feel boring because so many things have happened and it is very useful to show and explain like 30 minutes to show the past it will be great but 1 hour 15 is too long!!!
I mean the story will be better with ideas and it’s so disappointed that the dramatic scene was not present enough very bad because it will be a great story!!!
notice nothing moves everything is too slow, not so much action, so the main character could do a redemption on his old problem, to do a revenge against all the people who betrayed him but he didn’t… And concerning the scenario, the two main actors that we love, only play 20 minutes together, it is not enough for a very long film of 2 hours 40 and too bad because we expected more moments with these two actors, very bad point…
because an alternative of a few other ideas would have been great but it did not happen
The staging, the soundtrack, the play of lights and colors form the team these are only the good points of the film with also the good acting of all the actors but for me the very negative point is the very slow and too long scenario that killed the film… Thank you Gilles Lelouche for your superb staging but your scriptwriters and the different choices they made killed the film even if this story is taken from a book and you cannot create the ideas you want…
