In a mysterious and surreal interzone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of various characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. High school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of frozen winter ice money and try to claim it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly insufficient tourists through Winnipeg’s monuments and historical places. Matthew leaves his work meaninglessly in a Québecois government office and proposes to an enigmatic journey to visit his mother. Personal space, time and identities cross, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of downtime.
