That said, it’s good
This is a very repetitive, incredibly bland courtroom drama. It digs into the details of the case over and over again, constantly showing the audience things we already know. It’s a mundane case, with a minor twist that adds the slightest bit of intrigue, but not enough to make it any kind of thriller. It’s a procedural drama. Hoult is always a welcome presence on screen, but he plays Juror #2 for a reason.
No real character
He’s just a nobody. I can’t even remember his name. There’s not much to criticize about the film — it’s too beige to care. It’s hard to understand why this film was made, but the result is completely inoffensive. If you need a daytime movie to kill time, this will do.
