Narrative
Retiree Charles gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary El Agente Topo.
I liked it!
What I was expecting was a cliché-filled comedy about someone undercover, his crazy antics, and so on. Instead, we got a show about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself recover from the loss of his wife.
It was worth it because you wanted to see how things went – who stole, etc
This great series wasn’t filled with laughs and cruel somber lines, in some parts I felt very touched by the way the topics were handled, like a resident with memory problems. But it wasn’t serious enough to make you feel sad or bored watching the episodes, which made the series watchable.
The locations are beautifully done
